Hello Buggs, Well I went with the zt3100 on my hustler, currently at 186 hr with a change on oil and filter (cost was over 160$ in material labour on top) but bad experience with the JD units in the past with the Tuff Torq units in the area. He stated that the best thing for preventative maintenance was to cut you mfg recommended interval in half….and not expect much more than 1000hrs of service of the ZT2800-ZT3100 transaxles. Longevity goes up from there with ZT-3400 etc but not by all that much.
